With billions of resource-constrained devices coming online, Atym’s solution provided the necessary tools to manage, deploy, and secure applications efficiently on these limited platforms.

Most edge devices lacked the resources to support traditional cloud computing solutions like Docker and Linux. That limitation kept companies from fully using containerized applications on billions of constrained devices.

As demand for IoT and edge AI applications grew, companies needed efficient ways to deploy, manage, and secure containerized applications on devices with limited memory. Atym’s solution gave developers tools to work within those constraints, so even the smallest devices could run complex applications securely.

Atym set out to make edge computing accessible to developers across industries. Its lightweight container solution could deploy on devices with as little as 1MB of memory, letting businesses scale efficiently and securely.
