I hope to add more ‘Bee Partners Pledge’ blog posts over the year, but I’ll start with a lingering frustration with other VC websites:

“Bee Partners will show every company that it ever invests in on its portfolio page, both past and present.”  

You’d be surprised how many portfolio pages have been sanitized by VCs, either to solve for a shift in their investment strategy or to present a pretty picture in advance of fundraising.   Since we’re participating at the genesis-stage, there will be plenty of unknown businesses that barely see the light of day, but each of them, combined together, reflect a subtle approach to venture creation and financing:  seek passionate, outstanding founders who are dedicated to building their businesses.

(There’s one caveat to my statement above – in rare cases, founders want to to keep quiet for a period of time, for various reasons.  I’ll always respect that choice, as it’s not a matter of if, but when a company gets listed on the portfolio page.)
